MANUFACTURING

Our Well Screens and Screen Cages are manufactured by wrapping a triangular profiled wire, (otherwise referred to as V-Shaped) around an internal array of longitudinal rods. We utilize the electronically controlled welding system to fuse the profiled "wrap" to the support rods while maintaining accurate slot opening tolerances, according to the DIN standard 4935.

Our screens are manufactured dimensional ranges from 1 in to 14 in in outer diameter, and in lengths up to 6 meters, with continuous slot openings from 0.1mm (100 microns) to 5mm (5000 microns).

All our screens are built to your exact requirements, allowing you the maximum flow through open area while maintaining the necessary collapse strength and load resistance. Resistance to hydrostatic pressure in the well is directly related to the cross sectional area of the profiled wrap, per unit of length of the screen. The larger this cross sectional area the more force resistance to collapse forces. Larger cross sectional area of support rods allows the screen to withstand higher column loads and hanging weights.

For Oil and Gas applications, our perforation facility can perforate any size of casing with the exact number of holes, in the required amount and diameter, to give the flow rate required.

Quality Control
Quality Control is our highest priority, and in order to ensure
that we deliver only the highest quality products, operate efficiently, and maintain a system of continuous improvement, BSP has a QA system second to none.

We adhere to standards as set our by ISO 17824:2009 Petroleum and Natural Gas - Down Hole Equipment - Sand Screens. ISO 17824:2009 Provides the requirements and guidelines for sand control screens for use in the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries. The requirement for design, design validation, functional evaluation, manufacturing, storage and transport.

Engineering
BSP provides drafting services in order to be able to put your Well Screen requirements into Technical Drawing form. These are then signed off by all parties and become the basis on which all work is carried out.

Order Control
BSP's production Order Control System reduces delays in production and delivery by making clear to departments the exact specifications we are manufacturing to. Control Data Sheets and detailed drawings are supplied to vital sections of the production process.

Product Inspection
By performing in-process and pre-shipping inspections, as well as inspection of raw material at time of arrival, we can identify problems at the factory and in each vital stage of production with the goal of eradicating the situation of shipping Non-Conforming product.

Measurements and Testing
BSP has trained engineers who carry out inspections to verify conformity to design and specifications, correct use of materials, and quality of workmanship.

Corrective Action
BSP's engineers ensure that quality problems are resolved in the manufacturing process, and rework is ordered where necessary. Our strict ISO system dictates that a CAR (Corrective Action Report) is raised, and work is carried out under supervision in order to resolve all production issues.

Supplier Development
BSP works with all suppliers in order to build relationships. Good suppliers are vital to our company as raw materials delivered in good order and on time mean that products are manufactured and delivered to you the customer on time.
